Legrand and Hubbardton Forge Press Launch in NYC

I was invited to New York City by Legrand to join some other
design bloggers to cover the press launch for a special collaboration.
You all know how much I love good lighting!
So let me fill you in on who was behind the all
expenses paid trip and what was being unveiled!
Legrand is a biggie in the lighting industry.
Head quartered in Limoges, France, they have created
beautiful light switches as part of their Adorne Collection.
It makes sense to have chic wall plates/controls that go
with your incredible chandeliers and sconces, doesn't it?
Imagine being able to choose from wall plates in leather,
luxe metals, woods, and bright colors that fit your esthetic and
 coordinate with your lighting?
See ya later plastic wall switch plate!
Their wall switches also have all the bells and whistles one could want,
like motion sensor, touch screen interfaces, and push switches.
Fitting flush in the wall, the plates with their distinctive square design eliminates
the need for visible screws.  Anyone can easily switch out existing wall
plates as the snap in assembly works with regular electrical boxes!
Enter the oldest commercial forge company in America:  Hubbardton Forge.
Located in picturesque Vermont, right here in New England!
Hubbardton Forge specializes in hand forged light fixtures,
creating beautiful chandeliers, pendants and sconces.  Legrand collaborated
with them to produce the Hubbardton Forge line as part of the Adorne Collection.
A series of six lustrous metal wall plates forged by fire.
They are made by hand by blacksmiths in Vermont.
How fantastic is that?
This display at the NYC press launch shows off
their beautiful collection of plates in the Hubbardton Forge Adorne line.
Lets take a closer look at the hand forged multi layered finishes.
All metal, all handmade in six amazing finishes,
these Adorne wall plates make the perfect pairing between light fixture and switch.
While I was unable to cover this event, my son Justin Power attended
so we wouldn't miss out on this opportunity.  Thank you to Legrand
for extending the invitation to us at Maison Decor so we could personally
preview their newest collection and collaboration with Hubbardton Forge.
Justin took this shot of one of the light fixtures over the press meet and greet area below.
Lighting is everything when it comes to establishing the perfect atmosphere.
Don't forget to consider your options in wall plates.
Know there are beautiful options, like those from the
Adorne Collection by Legrand.
They have elevated ordinary home devices to artful solutions.
Its all about the details, isn't it?
